Excuse my blogging absence, I have been going through some personal challenges and unfortunately blogging has taken a backseat.
But, I am back with details from Lauren and Jordan’s summer wedding at Cafe Brauer in Lincoln Park Zoo. Coordinated by BCR Events and beautifully captured by Amanda Hein Photography, I am excited to show you the little touches that made this wedding unique.
The wedding took place over the 4th of July holiday so fan programs were a must for the outdoor ceremony to keep guests cool.

What an entrance this escort card table makes at Cafe Brauer.
Even though the wedding took place in Chicago, Lauren and Jordan are residents of Washington, D.C., and wanted to bring a part of their home to the wedding. Table names were named after D.C. neighborhoods with each escort card and table card featuring a map of D.C.
Stars denoted where the actual neighborhood is located in D.C. on the table cards and I have to thank Lauren and Jordan for helping me out with that task since I have only visited D.C. twice before.
Menus titled with a monogram “A” and printed in a deep purple matched the table of bright greens, succulents and blooming whites.
