Paisley and polka dots and stripes … oh my! This lively, patterned-filled wedding invitation was a true representation of Katherine and Anthony’s style and the celebration they wanted to create for their guests.
Katherine and Anthony are a globe-trotting pair with a strong eye for design and love of patterns which provided a myriad of inspiration when designing for this duo. The invitation incorporated the couples “Nantucket” color scheme, modern fonts, and clean lines. Completely personalized details included a compass logo with the couple initials as a nod to their travels and a masai giraffe envelope liner as a nod to Katherine’s charity work in Africa.
Pick a pattern … any pattern. Patterned escort cards led guests to their seats.
Place cards were wrapped around each guest’s navy napkin that was embroidered with the couple’s compass logo. I simply love this detail.
The menu card was designed to match the wedding’s farm-to-table, family-style meal.
How adorable is this bar all dressed up with a patterned garland to match the rest of the decor? I’ll take a bubbly!
The Groom’s Scotch Bar had a map of where each libation originated from and guests learned about the Bride’s Cocktail was a Pimm’s No. 1 Cup Cocktail.
Congratulations to Katherine and Anthony! You were a true joy to work with and I really appreciate the joy and interest in you took in the stationery.
